Welcome to the Mixed Doubles League!

• Each partnership is a 'team'.

• The schedules and contact information will be sent to each participant along with instructions for recording scores on-line.

• Scoring - we are using the KSwiss scoring system:

The winner of each court receives 14 points for a 2-set win and 12 points for a 3-set win. The loser receives a point for each game won in their two highest scoring sets up to a maximum of 8 points for each match played. Example #1 - match score 6-4, 6-2, winner = 14 pts. & loser = 6 pts. Example #2 - match score 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, winner = 12 pts. & loser = 8 pts.

• Rescheduling - please contact your opponent as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. Players are not obligated to reschedule as this is not a flex league.
  Matches should be played on their scheduled date, however, if you have an event or are out of town on a particular match date you may work with your opponents to reschedule the match. All rescheduled matches must be completed within 3 weeks of the original scheduled date. If that is not possible, the team that was available to play will win that match by default.

• Confirming your match - please email or call your opponent a few days before your home match.

• Recording scores - please record your scores as soon as possible following your match. If you are unable to record it, please email the results to: orly@palmtennis.com and the results will be recorded for you.

MIXED DOUBLES RULES

1. Matches will be at 7pm on Friday evenings.
2. Matches should start promptly. If a player is more than 15 minutes late, the team must forfeit that position.
3. Home team will provide balls and refreshments.
4. All matches will be 2 of 3 sets with a 7 point tiebreaker (first to 7 points by 2) in any set at 6–6. If sets are split, a match tiebreaker (first to 10 by 2) WILL be played unless all four players agree to play a third set instead. This decision should be made at the start of the match.
5. Players must be at least 18 years of age.
6. Matches should be played on their scheduled date, however, if you have an event or are out of town on a particular match date you may work with your opponents to reschedule the match. All rescheduled matches must be completed within 3 weeks of the original scheduled date. If that is not possible, the team that was available to play will win that match by default.
7. Scoring: The K-SWISS system will be used:

• Scores should be recorded within 24 hours of the match.

• Please login using your email and the password tennis (which you can change).

• Click on your Division and then on the name of your partnership.

• Click on the word 'options' - you will see a drop down menu which will enable you to record scores.

• The Kswiss total needs to be put in manually. If you forget or are unsure about how to record it - please email your scores to orly@palmtennis.com and the results will be recorded for you.
